Original waterpump 3714500 pulley that is unique to 1955 and 1956 Chevrolet factory air conditioning cars, and this is lised in the parts book as a "front" pulley which tells you it goes ontop of another pulley!! So this pulley goes over the standard pre-existing waterpump pulley 3704172 to create a 2 groove setup. As you can see, I've had the 3714500 media blasted and painted. the 3714500 is about 7 1/8" diameter, 2 1/8" deep, the 4 bolt holes are 1 3/4" and the center hole is 5/8". The 3704172 is also about 7 1/8" diameter. Yes, the parts book suggests the part number should be stamped in both pulleys, but for those of you who better, not all pulleys have part numbers stamped even though the parts book may suggest it. If you want them stamped, you may be waiting a VERY long time if you get my drift... The 3714500 is a PERFECT fit over the 3704172. ALSO, comes with the RARE NOS v-belt a/c belt with 3851887 imprinted into it. When I get time, I will have the 3704172 media blasted and painted which will reflect in the price, so in the meantime, unless I change the posting, you are getting the 3704172 as pictured needing to be restored. For clarification, many people mistakenly use the 2 groove pulley 3754088 or 3738881 (in 1958 the part number changed from 3738881 to 3754088) which DIDN'T start getting used until 1957 (shown in the last picture). Use whatever pulleys/pulley on your setup you choose to, but for the person wanting the correct pulleys for 1955 and 1956, here's where it's at! Thanks for looking!
